Golf Course Details:
Island Green
Pinehurst # 2 style crowned greens to try to hit and hold. Varying length of holes, doglegs, water and plenty of sand makes you hit every club in your bag. The Par 4 finishing hole island green awaits your final shots of the day. Excellent food and beverage await you in the spacious lounge...shoot some pool or go outside to the rocking chairs and watch the fun on the 18th island green hole.
Woodland Valley
4 star rolling hills course with large very undulating greens and wide fairways just to get you started. PURE GOLF with no housing to bother your errant shots. The most elevation change on the Grand Strand will test your uphill, downhill and sidehill shotmaking. Plenty of marshes and lakes and waste bunkers to avoid. I can tell you with all certainty that there are very few straight putts on these tricky breaking greens.
Azalea Sands
Pure golf with no houses, condos or out of bounds back yards to get in the way of your game. Refurbished this summer, the course has a variety of water holes with wide fairways and many dogleg holes.
Centrally located in North Myrtle..you can get to the course in 20 minutes from Myrtle. Waste bunkers, love grass, and pampas grass frame most of the fairways and should be avoided if possible. Azalea Sands is an Excellent starter course to get used to the flat beach style topography. Hit one more club than you think.
Tupelo Bay
The best Executive course at the beach. PLAY GOLF AT NIGHT on the 18 hole executive course. Par 3's & Par 4's to tune up your game...and you are playing regular length holes not short easy holes..example Par 3 ...211 yard elevated green with surrounding bunkers. Lakes, marshes,waste bunkers and a nice tree lined courses await your shotmaking. Good starter course or have a cookout and play in the evening. Outdoor covered cooking area with plenty of sheltered seating is available for groups. Practice facility, bunkers , putting green, Par 3 and 100 stall grass Driving Range. OR check out the club fitting center or get your clubs regripped in the same day. A true Golf Center for the avid golfer.
Indigo Creek
Nominated best new course in the U. S. when it was built. A Carolina low country gem with marshes, 400 year old oaks with dripping moss and large waste bunkers is a challenge for all levels of golfers. The large undulating greens means get it close or get used to some long lag putts. Golfmaster JIM has the course record with a 63 shot many years ago. Super lounge area..free popcorn, outdoor charcoal brats and burgers.
River Oaks
Nominated best new course in the U. S. when it was built.
