The 270-acre site is blessed with a dense stand of oaks, pines, and magnolias. Coastal golf courses are usually rather flat but this site has several natural 35-foot elevation changes, which slope down to South Carolina’s most beautiful stretch of the Intracoastal Waterway. With respect for the land, the course was built one hole at a time. At?Glen Dornoch, each hole flows with the natural terrain of lakes, live oaks, and spectacular marsh and river views. The last three holes on the course are a great finish to a challenging round. The Pub offers homemade salads, fresh sandwiches, and delicious daily specials…. all served with a tranquil view of the unique double green of 9 and 18, plus the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Glen Dornoch is located on Highway 17 at the northern end of Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand in the town of Little River, just a mile or two south of the SC/NC state line.
