Spirit Airlines announces sale to Myrtle Beach

Spirit airlines is poking fun at the congressman and his twitter scandal…by offering some unbeatable pricing for golfers to fly to Myrtle Beach.  $17 each way is unheard of.  Normally most golfers don’t travel to Myrtle Beach to play golf during the summer, but this is a heck of a reason to make an exception. They are calling this the  “Big weiner Sale” It’s only valid through June 8th…so you have to book by  the end of the day today, Wednesday!

Canadian Airline resumes service at Myrtle Beach International

Direct Flight to Myrtle Beach from Dallas Announced

American Eagle Airlines just announced and exciting new flight coming into Myrtle Beach.  Starting April 6th Golfers will be able to get to Myrtle Beach direct via the Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) airport.

Starting April 6th, they will have a daily flight that leaves Dallas at approximately 430 PM CST and arrive in Myrtle Beach at 630 PM.  In addition they will have a daily flight that leaves Myrtle Beach at 1215 Pm and arrives in Dallas shortly before 4 PM.

We are exciting about the prospect of better air service to Myrtle Beach.  This should enable golfers from Texas better access to some of the best golf courses in Myrtle Beach.  Traditionally it’s been difficult to find good air service between Texas and Myrtle Beach.  This will connect avid golfers to some of the best Myrtle Beach Golf Courses around.

Direct flight from Atlanta to Myrtle Beach

Non Stop Flights from Toronto to Myrtle Beach to begin Soon

As reported in TheSunNews.com on November 5, 2009, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and airport representatives are in final negotiations with Toronto, Ontario-based Porter Airlines to begin offering non-stop flights from Toronto to Myrtle Beach as early as February 28, 2010. Canadians love Myrtle Beach and suddenly it will be only two hours away.
These international flights will save time, the frustration of changing planes and money. Many times, direct flights are less expensive.
If everything goes as planned, travelers should be able to book flights between Myrtle Beach International Airport and Toronto Island Airport online by November 9. Porter Airlines was founded in 2006. It serves eight Canadian cities and has service to Chicago, New York and Boston.
