New Flights for the Myrtle Beach Golfer
DOUBLE DOSE OF NEW FLIGHTS – MORE GOOD NEWS FOR GOLFERS
Low-cost ALLEGIANT AIR has announced new, nonstop service to Myrtle Beach from two new locations: Huntington WV and Allentown PA.
The flights from Huntington will begin on April 30 and the flights from Allentown begin on May 3. The airline has announced introductory “low” fares for both cities. Information on these limited offer fares can be obtained by going to the airline’s website: http://www.allegiantair.com or by calling the airline’s Reservations Center at 702-505-8888.
The new flights between Huntington and Myrtle Beach will operate twice weekly, with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights will depart Myrtle Beach International Airport at 1:10 p.m. arriving in Tri-State Airport at 2:30 p.m. Flights leaving Huntington will depart at 9:30 a.m. arriving in Myrtle Beach at 10:50 a.m. (all flight times are local.) This schedule will give golfers the opportunity to play a round on both the afternoon of arrival and the morning of departure.
The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from Allentown’s Lehigh Valley International Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport with two flights weekly. With service Thursday and Sunday, flights will depart Lehigh Valley at 10:55 a.m. arriving in Myrtle Beach at 12:30 p.m. Flights leaving Myrtle Beach will depart at 11:30 a.m. arriving in Lehigh Valley at 1:05 p.m. (all flight times are local.). While the morning departure from Myrtle Beach is a bit to earlier to get a round in, the Myrtle Beach arrival timetable certainly allows time for an afternoon round to be planned.
Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on both routes.
