Heron Point Golf Club, Myrtle Beach, SC

Heron Point Golf Club is located off of Highwy 707 just minutes from downtown and the airport. Heron Point is an 18 hole resort golf course which is open to the public 364 days a year. Holes #9 &#18 are both great finishing holes as par 5's at 546 and 511 yards long from the blue tees. If you are long of the tee, both are reachable in 2 and both have large undulating greens. Hole #9 is a figure 8 fairway with water punching in at 275 yards and 300 yards off the tee. The lakes then surround the fairway to the green.

#18 is a beautiful hole with a lake on the left hand side of the fairway all the way to the green. A Cypress tree sits on the right hand side of the fairway about 100 yards from the green. You have to work your way around the Cypress to a well trapped green. "Double or Nothing?" From the blues, the 193 yard par 3 #17 is an excellent challenging hole.

The Golf Course winds through beautiful Carolina Pine Forest and quaint beach style neighborhoods. Golfers often spot hawks, eagles, wild turkey, fox, deer and even alligators while playing the course.
